Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Leicester
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you a Data Cabling Engineer in Leicester with experience in 1st and 2nd fix Cat6 installations? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be expected to install and terminate Cat6 cabling, working on outlets and patch panels within comms cabinets.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- 1st and 2nd fix installation of Cat6 cabling
- Termination of outlets and patch panels in comms cabinets
- Ensure installations meet project quality and safety standards
Experience required:
- Proven experience in Cat6 installation and terminations
- Competence with 1st and 2nd fix structured cabling works
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- CSCS/ECS Card (essential)
- IPAF (essential)
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate (essential)
- Standard hand tools and termination tools
- Full PPE (boots, hi-vis, hard hat)
