Are you an experienced Data Cabling Engineer? We are seeking a skilled engineer to carry out 1st and 2nd fix installations of Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a cabling. The role will also involve working on CCTV systems, data installations, and potentially door entry systems. You will be responsible for RJ45 terminations and testing installations using a Fluke tester, including setting up the tester and taking accurate readings. No containment work will be required.
Description of contract/programme of works:
-
1st and 2nd fix installation of Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a cables.

Work on CCTV systems, data installations, and potentially door entry systems.

Perform RJ45 terminations.

Test installations using a Fluke tester, including setup and readings.
Experience required:
-
Proven 1st and 2nd fix experience with copper cabling.

Experience with CCTV systems and data installations.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
-
ECS/CSCS Card (Essential).
-
IPAF (Beneficial).
-
Standard hand tools and termination tools.
-
Full PPE.
