Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Essex
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you a Data Cabling Engineer in Essex that is confident with CAT6 installations and first fix works? We’re recruiting for a contractor to support a project involving CAT6 cabling and initial camera setup. Configuration will be handled separately — this is purely install and first fix work.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- CAT6 cable installation
- First fix of camera positions and cabling
- Working to spec on a commercial or security installation
- Clean, tidy, and accurate cabling routes required
Experience required:
- Solid experience installing CAT6 cabling
- Familiar with first fix camera positioning and loom layout
- Able to follow site plans and install to high standard
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- CSCS or ECS (Beneficial)
- Standard hand tools, termination tools
- Full PPE
