Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Chesterfield
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you a Data Cabling Engineer with experience in Cat6 and Cat6a installations? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be expected to carry out 1st and 2nd fix structured cabling works on site in Chesterfield. You will be working for a respected contractor delivering high-quality cabling installations.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Installation and termination of Cat6 and Cat6a cabling
- 1st and 2nd fix structured cabling works
- Delivering cabling installations to specification and safety standards
Experience required:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Data Cabling Engineer
- Proven background with Cat6 and Cat6a installations
- Competence in both 1st and 2nd fix cabling works
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS Card (essential)
- Standard hand tools and power tools (including drill)
- Step ladder/steps (4–5 tread)
- PPE
