Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Cambridge
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you looking for a Data Cabling Engineer role on a structured cabling project in Cambridge? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out 1st and 2nd fix Cat6 installations, including module and panel terminations, on a commercial site.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- 1st and 2nd fix Cat6 cabling
- Termination of modules and patch panels
- Installation and testing of network cabling infrastructure
Experience required:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in structured cabling
- Competent in 1st and 2nd fix installation
- Experience with Cat6 cable terminations essential
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS or CSCS card – essential
- Own hand tools and termination tools
- Full PPE
