Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, or Hertfordshire (Site dependent on engineer location)
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you an experienced Data Cabling Engineer with a background in CAT6 and CAT6A installations and terminations? We're looking for a skilled professional to work on a mixture of data cabling installs and fibre pulling across school sites in the Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, or Hertfordshire areas. The specific site will depend on your location.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Install and terminate CAT6 or CAT6A cabling
- Pulling and installing fibre cabling across school sites
- Ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards throughout the installation process
Experience required:
- Solid experience in CAT6 or CAT6A installations and terminations
- Previous experience in fibre cabling and pulling
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- CSCS/ECS card (desirable)
- DBS Standard check (essential)
- Standard hand tools
- Termination tools
- Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
