Data Cabling Engineer

Rate: £165 p/day
Are you an experienced Data Cabling Engineer looking for a short-term contract in Central London? Technical Resources are recruiting for a contract role involving cable identification and testing at a site in London. You will be responsible for toning and tracing cables across the site using a handheld tester.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Toning out and tracing network cabling using a LinkRunner
- Identifying specific wires in bundled cable runs and across distances
- On-site testing and documentation of completed work
Experience required:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in data cabling or structured cabling roles
- Proficient with network cable testing and fault finding
- Familiar with use of handheld testing equipment such as a LinkRunner
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS Card – essential
- Own standard hand tools
- Full PPE
