Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum
Are you looking for a Corporate IT Manager position working in Sheffield? As a Corporate IT Manager, you will lead the organisation’s IT strategy while remaining hands-on with core technologies across infrastructure, cloud platforms, and end-user systems. You will be working for a leading UK service provider, ensuring technology enables business growth while delivering secure, reliable tools for both onsite and remote teams.
Responsibilities :
● Develop and deliver the IT strategy to support business growth, innovation, and operational efficiency
● Provide hands-on technical leadership across infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity
● Manage and optimise corporate networks, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, VPN, and firewall environments
● Oversee hybrid and cloud environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
● Manage identity and access using Entra ID (Azure AD) and endpoint management through Microsoft Intune
● Implement and maintain cybersecurity solutions, including Defender, EDR, MFA, DLP, and Zero Trust principles
● Lead incident response, risk management, and compliance aligned with ISO27001 standards
● Drive and maintain ISO27001 certification, including ownership of the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
● Support digital transformation initiatives using Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, and Power BI
● Manage IT partners and vendors, ensuring strong performance, governance, and service delivery
● Oversee IT budgets, SLAs, and service management aligned with ITIL principles
● Design and maintain Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and backup strategies
Experience and Certifications Required:
● A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior IT infrastructure or IT management role
● Strong networking experience, including routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud networking
● Experience working with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Intune environments
● Experience implementing cybersecurity solutions and security frameworks
● Experience with hybrid infrastructure and VMware environments
● Strong understanding of ISO27001, ideally supporting or leading accreditation processes
● Experience designing Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and backup solutions
● ITIL certification – beneficial
● Microsoft certifications (Azure, Security, or Microsoft 365) – beneficial
