: Commercial Sprinkler Design Engineer

£40,000 - £55,000 per annum
We are looking for an experienced Sprinkler Design Engineer to join a leading fire protection contractor, working on a mix of commercial and residential sprinkler projects. This role offers the chance to contribute to the full life cycle of design and support project delivery, ensuring compliance with LPCB and British Standards.
Responsibilities :

Produce detailed sprinkler system designs for commercial and residential projects.

Carry out hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and water supply analysis.

Prepare layout drawings, schematics, and design documentation using AutoCAD (Revit desirable).

Ensure compliance with LPCB and BS EN12845/BS9251 standards.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers for smooth project delivery.

Provide technical support across design, installation, and commissioning stages.

Maintain accurate project records and update design changes as required.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Proven experience in sprinkler design.

Strong knowledge of LPCB and British Standards (BS EN12845 / BS9251).

Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit highly desirable).

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
-
LPCB Basic/Intermediate/Design Certificates (advantageous).
