CCTV Project Supervisor – CCTV & PA Systems
Location: Birmingham - Various Train Stations (Construction Environment)
Rate: £280 per day
Duration: 4–5 months (possible extension)
Hours: 9-hour day (8:00–17:00, all included in day rate)
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior PM / Site Supervisor with strong experience in CCTV, data cabling systems, and ideally PA systems. You will support the Project Manager and Site Manager in the delivery of CCTV and PA installation works across multiple brand-new train station construction projects. This role is hands-on within a construction environment, requiring supervision of engineering teams, client and technical liaison, and ensuring site compliance with health and safety requirements.
Key Duties
- Manage and supervise site engineers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of works.
- Handle technical and client queries on-site.
- Place and track material orders as required.
- Prepare and oversee RAMS and site health & safety documentation.
- Conduct toolbox talks and support site safety culture.
- Organize engineering teams and daily activities.
- Act as first point of contact on sites when the PM is not present.
- Report progress and escalate issues to the Project Manager.
- Take on project-related tasks delegated from the PM.
Skills & Experience
- Solid background in CCTV systems and data cabling installations.
- Exposure to PA systems is beneficial.
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Project Engineer, or Junior PM within construction environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate with client representatives.
Qualifications
- ECS/CSCS Card – Essential
- SSSTS – Beneficial
- PTS (Rail Safety Certification) – Beneficial
