Role: Business Development Manager
Location: Midlands/North
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Technical Resources are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join a team. The successful applicant will ideally have a proven background as an Account Manager or Business Development Manager, with experience in Fire & Life Safety and ideally in Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control systems. This role will be critical in driving growth and expanding the Midlands/Northern region portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively develop new business opportunities, contributing to the growth of the Midlands/North portfolio.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing key client accounts, ensuring high standards of service are upheld.
- Upsell additional services within established accounts.
- Convert inbound sales leads passed through within the business.
- Conduct client visits to maintain strong business relationships.
- Attend occasional office meetings with the sales team for strategy and collaboration.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Previous experience as a Business Development Manager (BDM) or Account Manager.
- Technical background with Fire and Security systems, ideally including Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in business development and account management.
