Job Title: BESC Electrician
Location: Dorset
Rate: £355 p/day
We are looking for a skilled BESC Electrician to assist with the installation and upgrade of security systems at a substation in Dorset. If you have expertise in electrical installation, metal containment, and working on substations, we want to hear from you!
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Install metal containment, terminate cabling, and carry out armoured glanding.
- Perform safe isolation procedures.
- Install security system hardware and associated cabling.
- Ensure the work is completed according to safety standards and regulations.
Experience required:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Installation Engineer.
- Must have experience working on substations.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- BESC or National Grid Person / Competent Person (Essential).
- ECS (Essential).
- 18th Edition / JIB Gold (Essential).
- Own tools.
- National Grid compliant PPE (Essential).
