Role: Audio Visual Business Development Manager
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum + Commission
Technical Resources are seeking a dynamic Audio Visual Business Development Manager to join a high-performing, forward-thinking team. This role will see you driving growth across key sectors such as landlord and developer projects, tenant fit-outs, co-working environments, life sciences, and hospitality. Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities across key market sectors, including AV solutions for commercial, co-working, hospitality, and more.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from identifying prospects to negotiating contracts and closing deals.
- Collaborate with clients as a trusted advisor, using a consultative approach to align client needs with smart, scalable AV solutions.
- Produce detailed proposals and drive partner and vendor relationships to ensure each opportunity is successfully executed.
- Work closely with internal design, engineering, and delivery teams to enhance the market presence and develop new, high-quality AV offerings.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to contribute to new revenue generation and strengthen our reputation in the market.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience in AV and smart technology sales, with a successful track record in managing key accounts and delivering commercial results.
- Strong understanding of AV systems, IPTV, and integrated IT/AV solutions, especially in the context of smart buildings.
- Familiarity with AV control and signal distribution platforms such as Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, and AMX.
- Working knowledge of SDVoE technologies and DSP/audio platforms like Biamp, Bose, and Yamaha.
- Fluency in video conferencing and collaboration technologies such as Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and Cisco Webex.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to present solutions that align with clients' evolving workplace needs.
