Job Title: Assistant Engineer
Location: Cheshire
Rate: £130 p/day
Are you an experienced Assistant Engineer with a background in fire alarm installation? We are seeking a motivated Assistant Engineer to support with site tasks and cabling at a large commercial premise in Cheshire. If you have a strong understanding of fire alarm systems, particularly Advanced fire alarms with Apollo Protocol, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Assist with general site tasks, including cabling and installation duties.
- Work with Advanced fire alarm systems, particularly those with Apollo Protocol.
- Assist the engineering team to ensure the installation is completed on schedule.
- The scope of works will potentially run until late June, providing you with a long-term contract.
Experience required:
- Extensive experience in installing fire alarms.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and assist in various engineering tasks.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS cards (essential)
- IPAF license (beneficial)
- SSSTS (beneficial)
- 5 Point PPE: Hard Hat, Boots, Gloves, Glasses
- Hand Tools for site tasks
