Role: Access Control Engineer
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 per annum + Pension
We are looking for a Access Control Engineer to join a team in the West Midlands and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team, servicing access control and intruder systems. Experience with systems such as Entrotec, Galaxy, Firmax, Paxton, or similar would be beneficial, although we are happy to provide training for candidates with a strong background in access control and intruder systems.
Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and install access control and intruder systems across various sites in the West Midlands and surrounding areas.
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults on installed access control systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance visits and reactive call-outs for clients.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide clear communication with clients, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Complete all required paperwork and reporting in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members and management to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience in servicing access control and intruder systems (Essential).
- Experience with Entrotec, Galaxy, Firmax, Paxton, or similar systems (Desirable).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Full UK driving license (Essential).
- Willingness to receive training on new systems if necessary.
