Job Title: Fire and Security Service and Installation Engineer
Location: Bristol, Salisbury and Swindon
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a Fire and Security Service and Installation Engineer looking for your next contract role in the South? The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out remedial works and installations on Fire and Security Systems. This will include tasks such as installing an in/out module to link access control systems to fire alarms. The role will involve working across sites in and around Bristol, Salisbury, and Swindon.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Carry out remedial works and installations on fire and security systems.
- Install in/out modules to link access control systems with fire alarms.
- Ensure all systems are fully operational and compliant with regulations.
- Perform system tests and troubleshooting.
- Provide clients with updates and maintain excellent customer service.
- Keep accurate records of work completed and report to the project manager.
Experience required:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Fire and Security installation and remedials.
- Familiarity with both fire alarm and access control systems.
- Previous experience with remedial work on security systems is essential.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS Fire Installer or ECS Electrician (preferred).
- IPAF (Beneficial).
- 17th Edition (preferred).
- NVQ Level 3 (beneficial).
- City & Guilds certifications (preferred).
- DBS (beneficial).
- Hand tools.
- Power tools.
- Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
