We rigorously check every candidate for:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK: Passports, UK National Insurance number and birth certificates act as proof of identity.
- Driving Licence: These are essential for field-based roles.
- References: We require professional references covering the last 5 years of employment including their two most recent placements. References support the application process, give you confidence, and ensure that we maintain the highest standard of service.
- Certificates/Qualifications: We ask for relevant certificates e.g. CSCS, IPAF. This can vary. Let us know what you need.
We also check:
- Distance: Check the exact distance to travel to work
- Transport: What transport they will take and how long this will take them?
- Availability/Time Off: How long they are available for? Do they have any appointments or holidays booked that we should be aware of?
We are the only Recruiter to rate candidates in our sector:
- Rate One: Excellent candidate with 5+ good work reports
- Rate Two: Good candidate with up to 4 good work reports
- Rate Three: At least two good references, covering the last five years
- Rate Four: New candidate, not referenced
- Rate Five: One unstatisfactory work report/reference and must read comments
- Rate Six: Unsatisfactory candidate - two unsatisfactory references or one extremely unsatisfactory work report. Will not be used.
