👋 Meet our Associate Resourcer, Laurence Wijngaarden 

👔 What team are you in & what do you specialise in?

I’m currently working with the Extra team, providing support across both the Engineering desk and the Senior Perm desk as an additional resource when needed. My main responsibilities include proactively sourcing candidates for specific roles across the teams and sharing suitable profiles with the relevant consultants.

📜 What’s your background, and how did you end up working at Technical Resources?

Prior to this position, I worked as a Recruitment Consultant, placing IT subcontractors across Europe. While I gained valuable experience in the role, it ultimately wasn’t the right long-term fit due to the daily travel demands and the working environment. I was introduced to Technical Resources through a mutual friend who understood my situation and kindly referred me, which led to my current role.

I had heard great things about the company, particularly the friendly and supportive environment. I was also genuinely interested in the specialist market we recruit in, as it offered something different and presented a great opportunity to gain new experience and develop my skills in a new sector.
