Technical Support Engineer - Integrated Security
UK home based- can be based anywhere
£35,000 + car/allowance

Key Purpose of the Job:
To provide technical support and advice for internal and external customers.
Working on new solutions allowing for improvements in service level agreements across the client estate.
Liaise with manufacturers driving integrations and innovations into the business.

The role will suit an experienced Security Engineer or a recent graduate with good IT troubleshooting and programming skills who wishes to progress their career within a UK leading, FTSE 250 listed engineering and FM company.

Key Job Responsibilities:
*Technical support to engineering team.
*Prioritise workload and meet contractual deadlines.
*Develop technical solutions and security tools to help migrate vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
*Assist in developing technical department to suit the needs of the business.
*Write comprehensive guides for resolutions of the most common faults.

Essential requirements for the job:
*Good customer service.
*Hands on experience in working with advance security platforms, e.g., CCure, GENETEC, Milestone, Cathexis, PACOM, etc.
*Experience working with servers and databases.
*Good understanding of networking principles.
*Problem solving and fault-finding skills.
*Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

*Security systems certifications:
-Winpak, ProWatch
-Lenel, C-cure
*Cisco CCNA
*MCSA Windows Server
